Description

Springfield House is a cottage, likely dating from the 17th century, with possible origins in an earlier period. It is constructed of rubblestone, which has been rendered, and has a pantile roof. The cottage is single-story and consists of three bays, with a one-bay outshut to the left return. A four-panel door with an overlight is located to the left of the two right-hand bays; modern casement windows are in the remaining bays. End stacks and a ridge stack are present. The interior features three cruck trusses.
