Description

17 The Village is a cottage that possibly dates back to the 17th century. It is constructed of whitewashed rubble stone and has one and a half storeys with a slate roof featuring three eaves dormers. The central ridge stack is made of both rubble and brick, while there is a rubble corner stack located at the front right of number 16. The cottage has two boarded doors and various timber casement windows from the 19th and 20th centuries, with some blocked doors and windows also visible. Number 16 was previously two separate cottages. The interior is reported to retain older timbers.
