Description
This is a two-storey farm range that adjoins the eastern end of Brookside Farmhouse. The building features a rubble gable wall with brick dressings and a weather-boarded front, topped with a slate roof. There are six boarded doors and loft shutters. Inside, the space is divided by boarded partition walls and includes transverse stalling and loose boxes. The loft has floorboards, and the roof structure consists of tie beam trusses with two pairs of raking braces. The roof pitch has been raised, and the studwork walls are supported by jowled posts.
