Description
The Cross is a two-storey building with a cellar, featuring a rendered exterior and a slate roof with a brick upper end stack. At the rear, there is a lean-to structure. The central entrance door is accessed by five steps and consists of a boarded door with an overlight above it. The building has 19th-century three-light iron casement windows set in chamfered timber frames.
On the first floor, tall panels of timber-framing are exposed. The ground floor includes scroll-stopped beams, and there is a large open fireplace at the rear of the right-hand room, which has been altered and features a renewed lintel.
