Description
The barn and stable ranges at Tregare date from the 18th century and are constructed from rubble stone with a variety of roofs. The barn range on the south side features a slate and tin roof. The barn on the left has full-height doors, with one loop window to the left and two loop windows to the right. To the right, there is a two-bay cartshed with full-height entries and a timber post in between. The right end wall includes external steps leading to a loft door.
The cowhouse has an asbestos sheet roof and features two loft windows that break the eaves under catslide roofs, along with one window and four doors on the ground floor, some of which have renewed lintels. The barn is supported by tie-beam trusses with angled struts and three rows of purlins.
