Description
The Neuadd features a range of outbuildings that share a common roof line. At the right end, there is a small barn constructed with a timber frame, which has double doors at the center of its weatherboarded walls and a rubble plinth. The right end wall is clad in corrugated iron and has 20th-century inserted doors.
In the center, the main building is a cow-house made of whitewashed rubble stone topped with a slate roof. It has three doors on the right, each with timber lintels, and an eaves dormer above the third door. The center of the building features a small piece of projecting masonry, with two doors and two vent loops to the left. To the left, there are double barn doors and a short section of stone wall, all covered by a corrugated iron roof, leading to the gable end of a timber-framed cross-wing that is also clad in corrugated iron.
The interior is only partly accessible. The right end barn has tie-beam-and-collar trusses supporting a three-bay roof. The stone end wall, which includes a loft light, marks the end of the cowshed range. The cow-house contains cross-passages, with the center passage leading to a rear door, and features heavy beams supporting the loft.
