Description

Siluria is an early 19th-century building that replaced an earlier dwelling. It has two storeys and features a one-and-a-half storey service wing at the rear, which has a catslide roof, along with a late 19th-century lean-to extension. The structure is made of coursed squared rubble, with a higher quality stone used for the front elevation, and it is topped with slate roofs and two projecting rubble end stacks.

The front of the building has three windows, which are timber cross-pattern frames with central-opening iron casements, all set beneath cambered voussoir lintels. The upper windows are adorned with offset gablets above them. There is a rubble porch with a pitched roof and a tall arched entrance. The door opening is arched and features a part-glazed four-panel door under a fanlight with intersecting tracery.

To the north-east of the gable end of the house, there is a contemporary two-storey T-plan range that includes cowhouses and stables. This range is also constructed of coursed rubble and features cambered voussoir lintels, ventilation slits, and a slate roof. It has tall arched entrances leading to a passageway that runs between the stables and the house.
