Description

The Firs is a 19th-century building constructed of brick with slate roofs. It features a front block flanked by raised gables and has three bays, with a one-and-a-half storey kitchen wing on the left and a single storey wing for stores on the right. A prominent external brick stack is located at the center rear of the front block. The front elevation consists of two storeys, highlighted by a central four-panelled door topped with a four-paned fanlight. The windows include twelve-paned sashes, although all other windows were replaced in 1994.
