Description
The Old Vicarage is a two-storey building with a rendered exterior and a hipped slate roof. It features two wide bays with end stacks and wide boxed eaves that extend as wings to the rear. The central bay is slightly recessed and contains a central margin-glazed door within a brick-rendered porch topped with a parapet. The ground floor has 20-paned sash windows, while the upper floor has 16-paned sash windows. At the rear, there is a canted two-storey bay window on the west side. A small extension on the right gable is built over the substructure of an earlier building that is depicted on an estate map from 1721.
To the east of the main building, there are two privies situated over a stream. One privy is likely from the 18th century and lacks a door or original double seat, while the other is from the 19th century and also has no furnishings.
Inside, the entrance hall features a staircase with a wreathed handrail and bracketed treads. The main reception room is adorned with a reeded cornice and an incised fretted marble fireplace.
