Description
Llandrinio Bridge is a road bridge featuring three semicircular arches. The central arch is higher, creating a peaked cambered roadway that is reduced to a width of 3.75 meters. The arches span 45 meters and have a plain inner ring, followed by a ring of raised and chamfered voussoirs. The piers include triangular cutwaters that rise to a wide band, which continues upward as a shallow pilaster. This design sweeps into an attached ball finial. At the base of the parapet, there is a square band that develops into a cornice over the piers. The parapet consists of three courses with hog-backed coping, and one of the piers bears a roughly inscribed date of 1775. The ends of the parapets are splayed out to rectangular terminal piers.
