Description

This sundial, dating from around 1825, is located opposite the south porch of the church of St Trunio. It is made of limestone and is raised on two square steps. The sundial features a monolithic fluted shaft that stands on a square base with recessed panels and three small offsets at the bottom. The top of the sundial has been replaced with concrete and includes a brass gnomon that is inscribed with the names Edward Williams and Edward Vaughan, along with the year 1825.
