Description
The sundial, located in the churchyard to the west of the nave, was erected in 1866, as indicated by the date on the brass plate. It features two limestone steps that support a monolithic limestone shaft, which is square in plan and has a moulded base. The sundial is topped with a cavetto cap adorned with dog-tooth and billet ornamentation, and it has stop-chamfers on the corners. The brass sundial plate includes a gnomon. This sundial is part of a group of structures within the churchyard.
