Description
Boxted Mill is a 19th-century building constructed from gault brick, featuring two storeys with attics and a range of painted brick at the rear (east). The roof is slated and hipped, supported by two chimney stacks. The front elevation consists of three bays with pilastered returns and a narrow central bay, adorned with eaves and first-floor bands. The ground storey includes a semi-circular bow window at the centre, which has small panes and an entablature. On either side of the bow window are pairs of sash windows, each with gauged arches above them. The front also features two flat, leaded dormers and two additional dormers on each side of the roof, all fitted with small panes.
