Description

The Rose Inn is a building dating from the 17th to 18th centuries, with a 19th-century addition made of gault brick at the west end, which has been colourwashed. The original section of the building has exposed timber-framing at the east end. 20th-century additions extend from the rear. The inn is two storeys high. The windows are a mix of casements and double-hung sashes, some with glazing bars. The roofs are tiled, using old tiles, and the original section has a hipped roof at the west end. A large, square chimney stack rises from the east end. This building has group value.
