Description

Thorington House is an early 19th century house built of gault brick. It is two storeys high with a three-window front on both the south-east and south-west sides. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, set in plain reveals. The south-east front features end pilasters, and each window range is slightly recessed. A central doorcase has an architrave, panelled reveals, and a rectangular fanlight with ornamental glazing. The roof is slate and hipped.
