Description

26 High Street is an early 19th-century house constructed of gault brick, topped with a slate roof featuring coped gable ends. The building stands two storeys high and has a four-window range. The windows are sashes with glazing bars and straight brick arches, while the first floor has a round-headed sash window located left of centre. On the ground floor, there are two wide splayed bays. The entrance is framed by a pilastered doorcase with a broken pediment, a semi-circular traceried fanlight, panelled reveals, and a panelled door. The house also features end and ridge chimney stacks.
