Description

The Blue Boar Public House is a 17th-century building located on the north side of High Street in Eye. It is constructed of stone rubble with flush quoins and features window sashes. The roof is steeply pitched and made of Collyweston stone, with coped gable ends and brick dentil eaves. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window range. The first floor includes 2-light casements, while the ground floor has small 19th-century tripartite sashes and a splayed bay window. To the right, there are two early 20th-century doorways with semi-circular pediments. The structure also features three gabled dormers and ashlar end stacks with later brick stops.
