Description

Grove Farmhouse is a timber-framed and plastered house featuring a cross wing at the south end. It likely dates from the 16th to 17th century, although the front was rebuilt in the 18th century when it was raised to a parapet. The house has a four-window range with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. The ground storey windows are three-light. There is a six-panel door with a rectangular fanlight, which is flanked by pilasters and topped with a cornice. The roof is tiled and includes a central rectangular chimney stack.
