Description

Two and four Green Cottages, and number five Green Cottages, are a group of roadside cottages dating from the 18th century. They are built of local rubble stone with slate roofs. The cottages display a simple, vernacular design with the front elevations incorporating 12-pane sash windows, some with stone lintels. Number two has a stone chimney stack. The interior of number two retains stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops. The cottages contribute to the group value of the settlement.
