Description

Parc Gwynne is a two-storey house with an attic, built from rubble stone with rendered gable ends and a slate roof. The main block is symmetrical, featuring three bays, and has a service wing set back to the right, which ends in a gabled cross wing. The entrance has a central 20th-century glazed door framed by a fluted doorcase. Each reception room on either side has twelve-paned sash windows. There is a rendered and painted plat band, and on the first floor, three twelve-paned sashes with timber lintels are present, along with a central gable that has a bargeboard and a semi-circular attic window, likely rebuilt on a larger scale. The house has gable stacks. The service wing, made of roughcast brick, contains the kitchen and ancillary rooms, and features an arched porch. The lateral cross wing is constructed of painted brick and includes early 20th-century timber windows, as well as a two-light window with panes.

Inside, there is a central hallway with a dog-leg stair that has turned newels. Reception rooms are located on each side of the hallway, and there are original narrow rear service rooms that form a double pile, which were extended at a later date.
