Description

Green House is a house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of whitewashed rubble and has a roughcasted front, topped with a slate roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, along with a lower two-storey, one-bay extension to the left. The facade is symmetrical with three bays, featuring a central six-panelled door set within a later gabled porch that has glazed sides. The windows are deep set 4-paned sashes, which have been renewed, and the central bay has a gabled attic with a 6-paned lunette window. There are large gabled stacks with offsetting brick caps. The added bay contains large 3-light windows, which have also been renewed on the ground floor.
