Description

Old Police Cottage is a cottage from the early to mid-19th century. It has a roughcast and colourwashed exterior, topped with a slate roof. The building is one storey with an attic and features three bays that are symmetrical, although it has been extended to the southwest with an additional bay beyond the original gable stack. The entrance door is set slightly off-centre and is enclosed within a gabled glazed porch. On the ground floor, there are two light paned timber windows, while the attic has three larger windows with two-centred heads, set within three gables. The cottage also has decorative ridge crestings and gable brick stacks with offsetting heads. The property was not accessible during the inspection in July 1995.
