Description

43 and 45 Newbiggin are two 18th-century cottages. They are built of rough-rendered stone, with Welsh slates on the roof of number 43 and stone slates on number 45. Each cottage has a single brick chimney stack. The cottages have two windows each, with sliding sash windows containing glazing bars. They also have plain cottage doors. An archway entrance connects the cottages. The buildings possess group value, and are part of a larger group encompassing numbers 35 to 59 (odd).
