Description

41 Newbiggin is a 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall, constructed from coursed stone with rusticated quoins. The roof is covered with modern asbestos pantiles, and there are brick stacks at each gable end. The building features two windows with stone lintels, 19th-century glazing, and a canted oriel window on the first floor. There are two round-headed doorways, each with plain 19th-century five-panel doors and radiating semi-circular fanlights, along with a round-headed window on the ground floor between the doorways. The building has a 19th-century eaves cornice and a stone plinth. There is a door to the left that leads to No 41A. Nos 35 to 59 (odd) form a group.
