Description
Nos 35 and 37 on Newbiggin are late 18th-century properties. The left-hand building is three storeys high, constructed of rubble with a stone slate roof featuring kneelers. It has two windows with stone lintels, hung sashes, and glazing bars, along with bands between the storeys. There is one window on the ground floor and a rusticated segmental-arched carriage entry. The right-hand property has one window on each of its two storeys, with three-light hung sashes and glazing bars, and a stone plinth. It features two plain 19th-century doors with simple architraves and keystones. To the left, there is a plain yard door with a blocked rectangular fanlight. The door for No 37 consists of six panels with two glass panes. Nos 35 to 59 (odd) are part of a group.
