Description

Llwynmadoc Farmhouse is a symmetrical, three-storey building with a square plan, constructed in random rubble masonry. It features brick dentilled eaves and is topped with a hipped slate roof that has two brick stacks. At the rear, there is a two-storey range with a brick end stack and a single-storey lean-to on the east side, both also made of rubble masonry and covered with slate roofs.

The front (south) elevation is symmetrically arranged, showcasing a central entrance framed by an impressive stone doorcase. This doorcase has a round head with three orders of mouldings, along with columns and capitals. The entrance contains a planked door with an arched overlight. All window openings on the façade have slightly arched voussoired heads. The building has 20th-century casement windows throughout, with wooden frames on the first and attic storeys, and PVC-U windows flanking the front door.

On the east side, there are three blocked window openings above the lean-to, all under voussoired heads, while the west side mirrors this arrangement. The north (rear) side features a 20th-century bay window with wooden casements above and a stairlight to the west with PVC-U glazing. There is also a planked door leading to the lean-to and a four-pane window on its east side. The east side of the rear range includes the rear entrance to the house, which has a planked door set within a porch canopy. Below the eaves, there are three-light wooden casements, and similar windows on the ground floor are set under segmental brick heads. This range also has a catslide extension to the west and a two-light casement in the gable end.

Access to the interior was not available at the time of inspection.
