Description

The garden wall and gateway at Cefn Bryntalch is a red brick structure that connects the northeast corner of the house to the coach-house and stables to the north. In the center of the wall, there is a projecting doorway topped with a segmental pediment, which features a modillion cornice and lead flashing on the extrados. The doorway itself has a wood planked door set beneath a flat arch with curved corners and gauged brickwork. Inside, the wall is supported by brick piers, while the coping is made of bricks laid on edge. The exterior coping is notably deep and includes raked brickwork.
