Description
The North range to the Courtyard at Cefn Bryntalch is a symmetrical three-bay barn built under a plain tiled roof. The lower storey is constructed of brick, while the upper storey features timber framing. The wide central opening has been filled in with brickwork, and a smaller opening has been added beneath a concrete lintel. This central section is flanked by two three-light windows with leaded lights. To the right of the central opening is a similar window, and to the left is a plain planked door. The timber framing in the outer bays consists of two rows of square panels. Just below the eaves and above the door and window openings, there are four ventilation strips that contain open quatrefoils. The rear elevation features a wide gable that is hung with tiles at its center.
