Description
The west barn at Llwynmadoc is a barn oriented north-south, constructed from random rubble masonry and topped with a corrugated iron roof. The south gable end features three tall blind lancet windows made of red brick, which have horizontal banding and breathers, along with an owl hole positioned above. On the east elevation, there are eight hatch openings leading into a hay loft; one has a planked door, one is blocked with masonry, and the others are covered with timber boarding. Additionally, there is a 20th-century opening at ground level, which has a concrete lintel and red brick dressings, along with three more openings towards the north. The north gable end is clad in timber and has an opening on each level. The west side mirrors the east side with eight loft openings. Access to the interior was not available at the time of inspection.
