This is a two-bay, two-storey cottage featuring an off-set central doorway. It is constructed of red brick, with brick heads above the openings, a dentil eaves cornice, and brick gable stacks. The roof is made of slate, and it has stone cills and small pane 12-light casement windows. The entrance includes a four-panel door with a projecting gabled timber porch, which has diagonal boarding on the lower part, open lattice above, and decorative bargeboards with a finial.

Inside, there is a room to the right that has an inset fireplace with a corbelled surround. To the left, there is a store room, and at the rear, there is a dog-leg staircase with a boarded door and a partition.
