Description
This is an 18th-century cottage located on the east side of Main Street in Turweston. The cottage is two storeys high and has a tiled roof with end stacks. The two right-hand bays are constructed of red brick with vitreous headers. They contain 3-light wooden casement windows, and a central boarded door sheltered by a modern gabled hood supported by brackets. To the right of these brick bays is a bay of rubble stone, with a similar wooden casement window on the ground floor, a 2-light casement window on the first floor, and a small window in a blocked doorway to the right. A fireplace projection is visible to the left. Modern extensions have been added to the rear of the building.
