Description

The Moat is a building featuring brickwork that is partly pebbledashed, with brick quoins and hipped slate roofs. The layout includes a long four-bay range, with a central rear extension. At the eastern end, there is a cross wing with a semi-circular front that houses the main reception room. A further cross wing, likely a later addition, is located at the western end. The building was not accessible during the inspection in January 1996.
