Description
Bodfel-bach is a building constructed from local stone rubble, which is rendered and lined out at the front, featuring large boulder quoins that are all whitewashed, topped with a slate roof. The structure has a 'T'-shaped plan, consisting of a main range and a cross wing, with a large lean-to added in the major re-entrant angle and a single-storey kitchen with a hipped roof. The front elevation, which faces southeast, includes the entrance, featuring a partly glazed door located in the angle with the wing on the left, and a hipped slated porch. There are deeply set 16-pane sash windows on both floors, along with a small 4-pane window in the attic of the wing. The wing also includes a side stack and a large part-external rear stack, both of which are rendered.
To the northwest, there are attached farm buildings that have been partly converted into a garage, with a piggery located further back. The building was not accessible during the inspection but is believed to be fully modernised.
