Description
The War Memorial features a stepped granite plinth and a tapering pedestal topped with a cornice. It supports a full-height bronze figure of a soldier in military uniform holding an inverted rifle. The memorial commemorates the Great War, with inset lettering, and includes an inscription for the 2nd World War below.
