Description

Timber-framed on stone platform as ground falls to R, slate roof. Entrance front faces roughly NE. Square-panelled timber-framing, three panels high. Two small gabled dormers with small-pane casement glazing. Entrance doorway off-set to R has gabled open porch. To L, broad small-pane casement window, to R of this square small-pane window with casement window above, to R of door small-pane casement window. To R of building, where ground slopes, window at basement level in brick and stone platform. L gable end built into slope; rubble with brick gable and rectangular brick chimney. R gable end slate-hung, with brick chimney at L angle. Outshot rear with rubble walling; timber-framing of original rear wall visible within.i
