Description
Llechwedd is a house featuring a slate roof and a red brick chimney, with its entrance facing roughly south. The building has three gable dormers that include small-pane glazing and timber-framed walls divided into three tiers of square panels. The entrance doorway is offset to the right, aligned with the chimney, and there are two windows to the left and one to the right. A modern wooden verandah has been added. The house has been extended to the west, which involved rebuilding the original west gable.
The right (east) gable end showcases a collar and tie-beam truss with raking struts above the collar, a window positioned between the collar and tie-beam, and a small window on the ground floor, offset to the right. Inside, the lobby features a post and panel side of the fireplace opposite the entrance door, while the other side of the fireplace is made of stone and shows traces of an oven. The central section of the house, which was formerly the hall, has ceiling beams with ovolo chamfer and some stop-chamfered joists. On the first floor, there is a timber-framed chimney and exposed timber-framing in the trusses.
