Description
Glanfeiglo is a 17th-century building situated on a platform, featuring a main block with a later wing that is set at a right angle. The main block includes five crucks, with the end crucks originally designed as half-hipped. The central cruck is arch-braced and has cusping above the collar. The building was originally an open hall with an inner and outer room, but it has since had a fireplace and floor added, along with the additional wing.
The structure is one and a half storeys tall, with walls made of exposed square-panelled timber-framing that is three panels high. It has a slate roof with brick chimneys. The entrance front features two gabled dormers. The entrance doorway is topped with a gabled hood and is flanked by two windows on the left and a small square window on the right. The exposed crucks at each end have heavy collars, and the blades do not meet at an apex, reflecting the original half-hipped roof design. The south end has a casement window on each floor, while the opposite end features two casement windows on each floor.
To the right of the entrance, the parlour wing includes a projecting end chimney, a doorway with a gabled porch to the left, a gabled dormer, and a three-light small-pane casement window, along with a square casement window at the rear.
