Description
Bodfach Hall Hotel is a building with stucco elevations and a shallow plinth, featuring rusticated quoins. It has a steeply hipped slate roof adorned with groups of polygonal yellow brick chimneys and bracketed eaves. The entrance front faces roughly east and includes five pedimented dormers with casement glazing. The front has five windows, with the central window on the first floor being a tripartite design that features a central sash flanked by narrow sashes, supported by pillars with brackets. On the ground floor, there is a central bathstone Doric porch with triglyphs and paterae, two columns, and two pillars. On either side of the porch are two tall sash windows with cornices above, although these are partially obscured by creeper. The side elevations are styled similarly and have three dormers; the south side features an iron balcony supported by columns, creating a verandah. At the rear, there is a single-storey service block.
The public rooms boast impressive interiors, including an entrance hall designed in a heavy Italianate classical style. The ceiling features bracketed dentil beams with heraldic shields, and there are a pair of Roman Doric columns, with a Gothic fireplace to the right. To the left of the hall is the drawing room, and to the right is the dining room, both in a similar style. To the left of the hall, there is a staircase hall, likely featuring an 18th-century staircase, which leads to a rear room with wooden square panelling.
