Description
Hendre is a single-storey building with attics, featuring a slate roof and a rendered chimney on the left, along with rectangular brick chimneys at the center and right. It has two gable dormers with small-pane casement windows positioned along the eaves. The main entrance is a door set beneath a gabled open porch, flanked by a casement window on each side. To the left, there is an additional doorway with a small-pane window adjacent to it. The left gable has a projecting chimney, and there is a rear crosswing on the left side.
Inside, a large fireplace aligned with the entrance doorway creates a lobby area. The room to the left contains a fireplace with a massive beam and remnants of a post and panel partition, which includes a dais canopy beam above. The room beyond features a flagged floor at a higher level and has a cross-beam with mortices indicating a lost partition. The upper floor reveals exposed timbers from one cruck and one box-frame truss.
