Description

This is a barn with a byre located at Great House on the southwest side of the farmyard. It is constructed of rubble stone and features an iron roof, with a weatherboarded gable apex. The barn has a tall narrow doorway on the yard side, which is flanked by two square pitching openings positioned below the eaves. There is an additional door to the left and ventilation slits above. Inside, the barn displays significant rebuilding and the reuse of timbers. It contains two roof trusses with extended tie-beam ends and four raking braces.
