Description
95 Heol Maengwyn is a three-storey building with scribed render fronts, featuring rusticated quoins, a plinth, and moulded architraves on the first and ground floors. It has a slate roof, which has been renewed for No 97, with overhanging eaves and rubble end chimney stacks that include weathercoursing on the gable end. The windows are horned four-pane sashes, although the central windows have been blocked. There are twinned doorcases at the center, which have coved cornice brackets, panelled pilasters, panelled doors, and plain overlights, along with cellar openings. The 19th-century refronting is narrower than the original building, causing the left end of the front to be corbelled back at the top to align with the rubble gable end. Alterations were in progress as of June 1990.
