Description

The Old Black Lion Hotel is a three-storey building featuring a three-window front with scribed render. The ground floor is rusticated and has a plinth. It has a slate roof with bracket eaves and a rubble chimney stack. The windows are recessed small pane sash windows, some of which have horns. The entrance is slightly off-centre and is flanked by barley twist piers, topped with a wide cornice, and has boarded doors. There was formerly a cross range to the right, which is now No 18.
