Description
This building is a Georgian hairdressers salon with three stories and scribed stucco elevations. It features two windows facing Bridge Street, one window on the corner, and three windows on Queen Street. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, and there are rubble chimney stacks along with wide bracket eaves. The small-pane sash windows include a blocked left-hand bay on the Bridge Street front.
The shop front is broad and wraps around the corner, showcasing a bracket cornice that is damaged at the corner, fluted Ionic pilasters, and a panelled apron. It has a 'tessellated doormat' and half-glazed doors at the corner. To the left, the shopfront is finished with an Ionic doorcase leading to No 44 Queen Street, which features fluted piers, panelled reveals, eight-panel doors, and a traceried fanlight, along with a small-pane sash window to the left.
