Description

This is a four-storey rendered building located at the corner of Bridge Street and Great Darkgate Street, featuring three windows on both street facades and one window on the splayed corner. The hipped slate roof is concealed by a plain parapet, and there is a long brick chimney stack. The building has small pane sash windows. The shop front at No 1 is modern, while No 2 has a Victorian shop front with a bracket cornice and an ornate fascia at the left. There are Corinthian colonettes flanking the window and a half-glazed door. To the right of the Royale shop front, there is a panelled door leading to No 48 Great Darkgate Street.
