Description

The outbuilding at Yew Treet Farm is a 19th-century three-bay barn featuring a central threshing bay. It has a box frame set on a stone rubble plinth and is covered with an iron roof. The two end trusses include queen and princess posts, while the two center trusses are supported by two long diagonal braces extending from the tie beam to the principals. Inside, there are stone plinths for the internal bay partitions and a platform loft to the left.

Adjoining the barn on the left is a stable and harness room, which also has a stone rubble construction and an iron roof. The main entry features a brick cambered arch, and there are slit ventilators providing ventilation to the loft.
