Description
The barn at Yew Tree Farm is a threshing barn built around 1798. It is constructed of brick and has a pantile roof with dentillated eaves. The barn is single storey and consists of three bays. The south front features an off-centre blocked doorway with a segmental headed plank door inserted. To the left of this doorway are nine slit breathers and a blocked opening, while to the right are two 20th-century openings. Above these, there are 18 breathers, and further up, to the left, is a single unglazed opening along with eight cross breathers. The west gable includes an unglazed opening and two diamond breathers. On the north side, there is an off-centre barn door filled with corrugated iron, flanked by nine breathers. Above this, there are eight cross breathers and, to the right, an unglazed opening. The north gable has three diamond breathers. This barn is included in the register for its group value only.
