Description

This is a farmhouse, dating to 1798, with a single-bay, two-storey addition from the 19th century built onto its southern side. It is constructed of brick and has a 20th-century pantile roof. The eaves are dentillated, and there are two gable and one ridge stack. The building has two storeys plus garrets and four bays, forming an L-shaped layout.

The north front features an off-centre front door, flanked to the left by a single window and to the right by two Yorkshire sash windows, all with segmental heads. A 20th-century lean-to addition is on the right-hand side. Above the ground floor, a datestone inscribed '1798' is visible. The north end has a single 20th-century casement window and a door. The south end has a 19th-century single-storey rear wing on the left, with a 20th-century casement and a door, and a blocked opening to the right. Above are a Yorkshire sash window and another similar sash above that.

The rear elevation has an off-centre door with a segmental head, flanked to the left by a Yorkshire sash window with a segmental head, and a 20th-century casement to its left. A Yorkshire sash window is located to the right. Above are two Yorkshire sash windows and a casement. The rear wing, to its north side, contains a porch with a plank door, and a Yorkshire sash window to its right.
