The building has cogged eaves and two coped gables with kneelers, along with two gable stacks. It is a single storey plus attic structure with two bays, arranged in an L-plan.
To the right, there is a single storey 18th-century lean-to addition, also made of brick and topped with a tiled roof and coped gables. The east front of the cottage has a central door flanked by single glazing bar Yorkshire sash windows, all of which have segmental heads. Above, there are two 20th-century gabled dormers with tile-hung sides and single casement windows. The north front features a single casement window. At the rear, there is a 20th-century two-storey wing, constructed of brick and covered with a pantile roof.
