Description
Fron-goch Farmhouse is a one-and-a-half storey building with a cellar, constructed from rendered rubble stone. It features a slate front pitch roof and an iron rear pitch roof. The farmhouse has a large projecting rendered stack with two offsets and a brick upper section on the left, and a decorative yellow and purple brick stack on the right.
The central entrance is a plank door, which is accessed via rendered concrete steps. Above the door, there is a recess that reaches up to the eaves level, and it is partially glazed. The ground floor windows are from the late 18th century, consisting of three lights with a central metal casement. The upper windows have two lights and also feature metal casements.
A marble plaque by the door indicates the names IB Esq. and J Bodenham Esq., both dated 1794. The farmhouse currently stands empty and neglected but is in fair condition, while the associated farm buildings are still in use.
