Bush Cottage and Stable

Bush Cottage and Stable is a two-storey structure that includes a cottage and a stable range, with an adjoining barn range extending forward from the right end. The building is constructed of coursed rubble and features a slate roof, with a brick stack on the right side. The cottage has a central boarded door and two-light timber casement windows. Both the door and the right-hand window have inserted brick cambered lintels, as do the ground-floor openings of the stable. The stable includes a split door, a part slatted window, and a shuttered loft opening.

Adjoining the house at right angles is a 19th-century three-bay barn that shares the end wall with the cottage. The barn has rubble walls with infilled ventilation slits, large opposing double doors, and an iron roof, along with a weather-boarded bay at the front. Inside, there is a pegged tie-beam truss with projecting ends and raking braces.
